Eyebrow Plucking

Almost all people nowadays, pluck their eyebrows. Not only females pluck their eyebrows, but males do too. Plucking eyebrows is something that most people do, for vanity but also at the same time for hygiene or appearance. A person with well-groomed eyebrows is better looking than a person who has untamed, bushy and unruly eyebrows. Some people don’t pluck their eyebrows because they think it’s a lot of work, a hassle and it will become a routine or a permanent thing to do. Because any kind of hair grows back, so it means that you to pluck it every time it grows back. But the results will bring very satisfying results.

For women, be careful not to over-pluck your eyebrows. Thin or over-plucked eyebrows tends to make you look like a snob, harsh, stern or it’ll make one’s face looked washed out. It’ll make you look un-approachable so be very careful not to over-pluck. But just in case you accidentally over-pluck them, don’t panic. They’ll grow back, but while waiting for them to grow back. You can buy and use eyebrow fillers, like eyebrow powder or eyebrow pencils. And when they grow back, just be sure or make sure don’t be too excited or else you’ll tend to over-pluck again. Make sure that you’ll only pluck appropriate amount of hair that suits the shape of your face.

For men, well one thing, men are naturally hairier than women. So it means that, grooming your eyebrows is kind of important, in a way. But with men, it’s not just simply plucking them. Because if you over pluck them you’ll look very weird and funny and people might question your sexuality too. For men, the main goal to achieve is to just pluck away the stray eyebrow hairs. Not really shaping them. With that you will be able to achieve a very well-groomed look.  Men’s eyebrows have a much more defined natural shape than women’s eyebrows. Start plucking away the eyebrow hairs in the middle part in between the eyebrows, to get rid of the so-called “uni-brow”. Because the uni-brow gives the illusion that your eyebrows are connected in the middle. Just plucking that away will already make a big difference to ones’ appearance. This is very nice for men. It really helps in improving one’s appearance.

Though plucking is not really painful. It gives a slight stingy sensation as you pluck each hair, even for people who are already used to plucking their eyebrows. That’s why some people resort to shaving their eyebrows because it’s the least painful. But little do they know that shaving eyebrows will make the eyebrow hairs courser and at the same time it will make the direction of the hair growth all over the place, making it more unruly. Routinely plucking it, will make your eyebrows have a permanent shape and it will be easier to follow the contour or shape and know only which hair or how much hair to pluck. But there are some people who have very sensitive nerves, making eyebrow plucking a very painful task or experience. Here are some tips on how to minimize pain when plucking eyebrows:
• The best time to pluck eyebrows is after a warm shower or bath. Because warm water opens up the hair follicles. Making the hair shaft soft and can be pulled out easily with very minimal pain.
• If warm showers are not your thing. You can apply an ample amount of moisturizer or lotion on your eyebrow area 5-10 minutes before plucking. It’ll make the skin soft and the eyebrow hair can be easily plucked out.
• You can also rub the eyebrows with an ice cube for 3 minutes before plucking. Ice can numb the area. Not feeling any paint at all during plucking.
• And lastly always pluck eyebrow hair with the direction of the hair growth not against it. The brow hair can be easily and effortlessly pulled out in that way.
